Fully Funded Scholarships on Big Data

The University of York is involved with DARA, a big data project that is funded by the UK’s Newton Fund. DARA is currently advertising four full-funded 3-year PhD students and two full-funded 1-year MSc studentships. The bursary includes all tuition fees, bench fees and maintenance allowance, and for PhD students it also includes an annual trip back to their home country to build links with institutions and industries that are looking to develop data intensive methodologies.

The studentships are open to students from Ghana, Zambia, Kenya, Namibia, Botswana, Madagascar, Mozambique and Mauritius.

Applications close at the end of November. Click here for more information.
